Obituary of Larry Norman McIntosh

Larry McIntosh
March 7, 1943 – January 3, 2024

Larry passed away peacefully at the age of 80 in the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK on January 3, 2024.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Grace, his son Cameron (Jodi), his daughter, Alison and his grandchildren Kylan and Seth who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his sister, Faye Moore (Alan), and their son, Chris Moore, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Norman McIntosh, and his mother, Elveny McIntosh.

Larry was born in Trail, British Columbia on March 7th, 1943 and later moved to Saskatchewan as a young child with his parents. He had a long and distinguished career in the Saskatchewan education system, where many colleagues and students benefited from his knowledge and experience. Larry will always be remembered for his dry sense of humour, his passion for baseball and unwavering support for the Toronto Blue Jays.

He faced a number of health-related challenges in his later life, but he never gave up or lost hope. He inspired others with his optimism, courage, and resilience.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.
