Allan Walker

1960-2024

Allan passed away January 5, 2024 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. In his early years he enjoyed skiing, motorcycling and church activities. He loved music – especially the blues. He was a kind and thoughtful person.

Allan worked in a variety of jobs before finding his niche as a seasonal parks worker for the City of Saskatoon until he was incapacitated by his M.S..He bore his progressive disability with strength and grace, spending the last 14 + years in care at Sherbrooke Community Centre.

He is survived by brothers Colin (Betty) and Bruce, sister Jocelyn and nieces Shauna, Leah, Asa, Nami and their families.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sherbrooke for their excellent care and Dr. K. Roelens for his attention to and care of Allan. Thank you to Al’s friends for their love and support through his years of decline and disability from M.S. Thank you to Saskatoon Funeral Home.
