I appreciated knowing Thelma as a member of our church book study group. Thelma's military experience then her MTS degree from St Andrew's College at an older age were both things that mirrored my own experience. Thelma was a quiet woman, but one who displayed manners and wisdom to those she encountered. I will miss her and remember her with respect.
