Phyllis Helen Twordik

February 24, 1918 – November 15, 2023

It is with heavy hearts our family announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Phyllis Helen Twordik on November 15, 2023 at Glengarda Hospice Care. 

Phyllis was born on the family farm in Prud’homme and spent her early years on the family farm west of Biggar.  Phyllis moved to Saskatoon in pursuit of a career in the Beauty Industry and eventually became the owner of the Biggar Beauty Salon for many years, moving to Saskatoon in 1971. 

Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her for her gentle spirit and love of life.  Her life lessons and memories will forever remain in our hearts! 

Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by: her daughter, Donna Mac Fadden (Gordon); son, Larry Twordik (Margaret); grandchildren, Melissa, Marc McGrath, Jeremy (Leanne), Scott (Cindy) Twordik, Bryan (Jennifer) Mac Fadden, Alastair (Samantha), Michael (Melissa), Joshua (Darcia) and Sarah (Bud) Spencer; and 20 great grandchildren. 

We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all the Medical Staff at Glengarda for their kindness and compassion caring for our Mother!

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Saint Philip Neri Parish. (1902 Munroe Ave S, Saskatoon, SK)
