It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother and partner, Brandon Garrett Armstrong, on Sunday October 15th, 2023.

Brandon was born September 26, 2002, in Regina, Saskatchewan to Garry and Laurie Armstrong (Huggins). He was second oldest of five children.

Brandon grew up, attended school, and touched many lives in in Regina, Govan, Strasbourg, Saskatoon, Delisle, Rosetown and Harris. Brandon used his natural athletic skills to play hockey, football and lacrosse and excelled at all of them.  When out of school, away from the arena, and off the field, he spent as much time outdoors as he could – hunting, fishing and camping. Brandon was working toward following his early childhood dream of becoming a professional firefighter and was able to realize a part of that dream when he joined the Harris Volunteer Fire Department. Brandon and Camryn moved into their first place on their own in Harris and recently moved to Saskatoon to begin a new chapter in their life. In addition, Brandon dreamed of purchasing a piece of woodland where he and Camryn could live their lives in the serenity of nature.

Brandon had a huge heart and was fiercely protective of his siblings, family, and those he loved.  He approached everything in life with no fear or hesitation, be it small or large. He was highly intelligent, spoke his mind, and stood up for what was right. Brandon tried to make everyone feel welcome with his quick wit and smile that lit up a room.  He loved all animals and his best friend, Daisy had a special place in his heart.

Brandon is predeceased by his great grandmother, (Nana) Marjorie Huggins; grandmother, Bonnie Desjarlais; and great uncle, Jack Huggins.

Brandon will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Garry and Laurie Armstrong; siblings, Mackenzie (Tyler Ellingson), Jessica, Alexandra and Ethan; partner, Camryn Fast and family; faithful friend, Daisy; grandmother, Judith Grad; aunt, Wendy Huggins, who lived with Brandon while growing up; and numerous family and friends who love him dearly.

A Celebration of Brandon’s Life will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home. Those unable to attend the service, the family invites you to join the service via livestream.
