I only just today found out that Rob passed away. I'm devastated. I met Rob when I moved to Saskatoon a few years ago. He helped me to get through some of the lowest, loneliest times of my life. He was hilarious, a bit dark, thoughtful, incredibly intelligent, handsome, and had the BEST taste in music. He was always taking up a new hobby and would always dedicate 100% of himself to it - whether it be drawing, photography, skateboarding, DJing, or building a skatepark in his backyard. His dedication was something I greatly admired about him. I’m so grateful for his friendship and love him more than words can describe. I got to see him a week before he died, we walked all over downtown Calgary for a few hours one night having no idea that would be the last time I saw him. I had also been wondering why he wasn’t responding to my messages and now I know why. I’m so heartbroken I’ll never get to see your cute smirk, hear your laugh, see your fit of the day or share songs with you again. I love you, Rob. My heart goes out to his loved ones.
