To the Miller Family
I have been Daryl's accountant since he acquired the Royal Lepage business. We were introduced at a Blades hockey game by Reg Carmichael.
Like Brian said in the eulogy, Daryl was not afraid to try new things. He stepped out and in a bold move he purchased the business.. He got me to teach him how to do a bank reconciliation as well as accounting for investments including the translation of foreign currency. He always asked a lot of questions. He wanted to know how it all worked.
His love for his wife and family was evident as he always talked about you.
Daryl was a client and also a friend. He was gracious and always treated me well.
I am saddened by his passing.

Our family is greatly saddened to hear Daryl has passed away. Our deepest condolences to you Cathy, Brian, Scott, Matt and families. His kindness to us over the years has been way too many times to count and we really missed you two at the lake this year.
Now when I use my telescope on the stars I will look for Daryl’s balloon flying high and burning the flame a little too rich. We are all stories in the end… and his is a good one.
