Obituary of Elizabeth M. Francis

It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth (Betty) Francis announces her peaceful passing at the age of 92 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Wayne, daughters Laurie (Dale) Ziolkowski and Lynn (Daryl) Hiebert, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is survived by her sister Carol Doolittle (Ron), sister-in-law Sharon Francis, and brother-in-law Steven Francis (Shirley) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband (Edwin), son (Darrel), and grandson (Levi).

Betty was born in North Battleford, Sk. raised on the family farm at Paynton, Sk.. She trained and worked for many years as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in North Battleford and Saskatoon. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, trips to the cottage and knitting.

The funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at St. Anne’s Church (217 Lenore Drive, Saskatoon) at 10:00 am.
