Obituary of Ralph Lawrence Klyne

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Klyne after a short battle with cancer on August 30th, 2023. Ralph is survived by his two sons, James Klyne and Jeffery Klyne; two sisters, Linda Secuur (John Secuur) and Darlynn Klyne; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. Ralph is predeceased by his wife, Charlene Klyne; daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Klyne; as well as his parents, Mary and Joeseph Klyne. 

Ralph formerly worked in construction before attending SUNTEP at the University of Regina. Ralph spent his teaching career in the northern village of La Loche where he taught Native Studies and later became vice-principal of Dene High. Ralph will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind and caring person who cared deeply about his family, students, and community.

A Celebration of Life will take place for Ralph at the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation at 2317 Arlington Avenue in Saskatoon on October 14th, 2023, at 1:00 P.M.
