To Margot, Anthony and Kristina - my sincere condolences on your loss. I had the great good fortune to work for Herb for a number of years. So many words come to mind to describe Herb - so knowledgeable, humble, funny, and a man of great integrity. His influence carries on to this day.
Above all else, he was so proud of his family. He spoke often of all of you, the three of you were his pride and joy.
Again, my deepest condolences on your loss.

Our condolences to you Margot, Anthony and Kristina. I had the pleasure of having Herb as my first boss at Poplar River power station. He was always helpful and patient with me. When I had trouble with something or needed advice, he taught me how to do it myself. He would guide me to a solution and I learned so much from Herb.
Herb was also a friend to everyone. If there was loud laughter in the canteen, you could be sure it was Herb's hearty laugh.
I have only good memories of my time with Herb.

I worked at PRPS when Herb was there. He was a great man and truly one of the best engineers that Saskpower had or ever will have. He was a kind man with a warm smile. There was no problem that he could not solve. When I got to Queen Elizabeth Power Plant, they were still using the instructions that he wrote that are still being used today which are true today as many years ago. He will be missed.

Margot and family, so sorry to learn of Herb’s passing. We have not been in close contact since our Saskatoon and your early Regina years. We were the youngsters at Queen Elizabeth when Herb and Terry worked together so bonded early. I remember the respect Herb’s colleagues had for him. Your above write up captured him so well. Cherish your many fond memories and all you learned from a hard working creative man.
Sincerely, Terry and Maureen Scott

I am very sorry to hear of the early passing of Herb. Herb was the head of the engineering department with all engineering trades reporting to him. Whenever journeymen or managers needed advice they went to Herb and they could count on Herb to solve their problem. It was always good to know, but came with a lot of responsibility. My condolances to all the family. RIP Herb.
