Obituary of Garry William Redgwell

We are sad to announce the death of Garry Redgwell, who passed away peacefully at City Hospital on August 18, 2023.  He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters. Garry is survived by his wife Maureen and his three sons Adrian, Mark and James, as well as his two granddaughters, Katherine and Daphne, and great-granddaughter Jamie; and his sister Yvonne.  Garry worked at Robin Hood Oats for over thirty years with his older brother Donald. In 1966 Garry met his soul mate Mo (Maureen), and in 1967 they married at St. Mary’s Church. Garry and Mo worked hard to provide their children with the things Garry didn’t have in his childhood.  They spent summers camping and winters playing hockey.  Garry retired early and stayed in shape walking his dog.  He enjoyed having coffee and sitting on his deck.  Garry also had a love for motorcycles, which he shared with his youngest son.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 1:00 pm from St Mary’s RC Church (211 Ave O South, Saskatoon).
