When I first moved to Spalding, Larry and Penny still owned the pharmacy, and they were so friendly and welcoming. I remember many great conversations with both of them. I always loved their beautiful, magical yard and admired it when out for walks. One evening my stepdaughter and I were walking by talking about how we wished we could see it better, and a voice called out from behind the trees, “Well, come in then!” It was Penny, and we went in and ended up spending a couple of wonderful hours with her and Larry.
