Born in Buzau, Romania on April 24, 1969 grew up in Bucarest, Romania, completed did the majority of his education in Romania along with a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering moved to Canada in 1995 and completed a second Masters in Science at the University of Saskatchewan, completed a Bachelor of Education at the U of S in 2009 and a special education certification. He had a short contract teaching at Oskayak where he found his calling and became a role model for many young people. He loved showing his passion for movies and music. He spent the last few years teaching on rural reserves connecting with colleagues and students meeting relatives and making connections to his wifes culture. He sometimes referred to himself and a modern day Grey Owl. Ciprian converted to Judaism in 2018, he enjoyed spending time learning all there was to learn, meeting and talking with members of a community that accepted him with open arms where the teaching resonated with his ideas.
Ciprian loved his yard, specifically his roses, and fruit trees. He would sit on the swing and swing while looking at all the trees. He loved kitties and would gravitate to any kitten or furry animal he could find. He would take creepy crawls outside rather than kill them. He watched European football and his teams were Manchester United and Real Madrid. He enjoyed driving the boat and did horribly when he asked to ride a dirt bike (he said he would only be a passenger from that point on). He had such a kind heart, he never wanted to buy cut flowers or would bring home stray cats or rez dogs. He loved to sit for hours listening to music in his computer room or binge watch Supernatural.
Friends would just need to call and come over or go and visit he loved all his friends and welcomed any time to discuss politics both abroad and here in Canada. His family was all who made the time to get to know him and let him show his quirky, jokester side. He loved to tease and play practical jokes on you. If you made the cut you were something special.
His love of teaching brought him to Oskayak where he met a group of boys that he became so proud of (Keishawn, Randall, Noah, and Matthew)
