Obituary of Patricia Marie Secord

Pat Secord passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 75, following a valiant fight against cancer. She is survived by her four siblings:  Stanley, Margaret, Evelyn and Kevin (Maria), along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pat was born in Taber, AB on November 1, 1947 and spent her childhood on a farm at Wrentham, AB.  She completed her early education in Wrentham and attended high school in Taber, AB.  She worked as a stenographer for many years, among numerous other occupations including employment at a hotel in England for a brief period of time.  Her roots and love of the land led to several years of farming in northern Alberta after which she moved to Saskatchewan to complete her working career in the hospitality industry in Saskatoon.  

Pat had a very deep faith and relationship with God and our Lord Jesus Christ.  She treasured and valued her friendships with fellow church members and children in elementary school (as an assistant teacher).

A funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Saskatoon Funeral Home with Pastor Brien Johnson officiating.  Arrangements are in care of SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME. (306) 244-5577
