Obituary of Peter Sgalbiero

It is with profound sadness the family of Peter Gerard Sgalbiero announce his passing on the evening of March 25th. Peter was deeply loved by his wife Nancy, their three sons: Chris, Justin, Tyler (Jocelyn). Also left to mourn his passing is his three sisters: Maria (Gordon) Bethel, children Catherine, Jeanelle, Michael; Catterina (Brian) McDonald, daughter Courtney; Theresa (Patrick) Robertson, children Gavin and Kirstyn; his beloved dogs Harley and Cynamin. As well as his best friend Darcy and numerous other friends and extended family members. Peter was predeceased by his parents Pietro (2008) and Julia (2015) and infant brother Domenico. Peter’s passion in life was his family, walking his dogs, restoring classic cars and cruising. He was an avid sports fan, faithfully watching his Boston Bruins, Toronto Blue Jays and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Peter was known as a kind, compassionate husband and father. Throughout his life he made many strong and lasting friendships. He spent his career with the Saskatoon Catholic School Board and retired as a Journeyman painter in 2014. .
