Sister Weber was my Grade 5 teacher at St. Philips Elementary School. I admired her faith and dedication to her profession - she had a spark of life about her that translated into her vocation. I was pleased to read about her other passions that she enjoyed in nature and expressed through art. My condolences to her family and friends.

I was very fortunate to teach with Sister Joan Weber and our son was fortunate to have her as a Grade Five teacher at St. Anne School.. What a model she was to the staff and students as she shared her compassion, talents and love of learning with all of us. Sister Joan Weber loved to tease in her special way. She will be missed.
Our deepest sympathy to all of Sister Joan Weber’s family.

I was heartbroken to hear of Sister Webers passing. I was so blessed to have been one of her students at St. Philips. To this day I have never forgotten her kindness, her patience, and her dedication to her students. It is a special soul that impacts a child so greatly that 30+ years later, I think of her often.
I wish i could have told her this......Thank-you Sister Weber for bringing so much love and beauty to this world.
My deepest condolences to her loved ones.

I remember Joan as a colleague at St. Patrick school in Swift Current. It was the first Catholic school to open in Swift Current so the entire staff was new to the school. Joan was quick to form friendships with the staff. Her quit wit and smile were so endearing.
Two years ago I was fortunate enough to learn of Joan's artistic abilities and how she was able to capture so much of the Prairie landscape. Having grown up in rural Saskatchewan I contacted Joan and purchased one of her acrylics.
My condolences to Joan's family, friends and the Urseline sisters. May her memories bring you comfort.
She was a real Gem! Rest in Peace.

I first met Joan as the grade 5 teacher to our son Mark while attending St. Philips school. We found out that she was the sister in law of my sister in law Lucille Weber. We had another thing in common; we were both Scorpios born on November 12. We always celebrated our birthdays together in lunches or phone calls during COVID. Christmas dinners were a highlight. Recently we made a pact and hung her wonderful paintings at Gardenscapes. Many many people saw her paintings ,wondered at her talent and their Saskatchewan themes. That was only 2 weeks ago. I will always remember her laugh....her wry sense of humor and her freckles. With love Janet and Ken
