Carla WArren and families Janice and I send our deepest condolences for you loss Chuck was a great friend and mentor to my parents Eric + Kay johannson he was always ready to help with projects and he and dad did tons of chores at the ranch by asquith always smiling with a quick one liner I enjoyed hours of fun at round ups the welcome group in Saskatoon mom and dad’s home or the ranch he was responsible for me hiring on with the CNR in 1978 and I truly owe him for the pension I earned in my 35 years there it’s sad when someone passes but he’s back with his Shirley and I can’t imagine how happy they must be I’m grateful to have known him and your mom he will be missed
Our sincere condolences Carla, Warren and families. Chuck had such an important role in our Dad's (Eric Johannson) AA journey and he and Shirley were part of their AA family. Chuck will be missed but will live on in our stories and memories of him.

Grieving cannot be avoided with the passing of a parent but great memories mitigate the pain. I fondly remember the extended family BBQ's at George and Mary's Madge Lake cottage.
