Obituary of Margaret Good
It is with heavy hearts our family announces the passing of Margaret “Pat” Patricia Good. After a lengthy battle with cancer and COPD, Pat passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side on March 14, 2023, at St Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, SK.
Pat is survived by her husband, Bob Good; her daughters, Tracy (Ryan) and Chelsea (Chad); her son, Brandon; six grandchildren, Autumn, Emily, Sam, Taylor, Annika and Conan; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and William Kilpatrick; and her brother, Todd Kilpatrick.
Pat was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She grew up in Caswell Hill, where she attended Caswell School and Bedford Road Collegiate. It was here she met the love of her life, Bob Good. They went on their first date to their high school graduation. Pat and Bob were soon married in 1969. They raised their three children in Saskatoon, in a home that they built. Pat and Bob were married for fifty-four loving years.
Pat was a creative person, and an accomplished artist. She was a ceramist, porcelain doll maker, seamstress and professional florist. She spent many years running her own business, Just Friends Victoriana, a Country Victorian home décor and gift shop. It was here she sold much of her art.
Pat was an avid gardener and loved to host her family for Sunday dinners. She loved animals and had several pets over the years. Her dog Murphy could always be found at her side. She was a grandmother to six grandchildren. They called her Nannie and Pat loved having them over for sleepovers, tea parties, crafts, baking and swimming. She was enormously proud of all of them.
The family plans to have a private celebration of her life in the near future.
