Obituary of Royalda Mildred Emerson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mom, grandmother, sister, and friend. Royal Mildred Emerson passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior at her home in Saskatoon on March 12, 2023, at the age of 74.

She is predeceased by her husband, Robert, and her mother, Dorothy. She will be remembered by her daughters, Darlene and Fabiola (Laurent); grandchildren Jamal, Darnel, Ajani, Malachi, Datiel, and Kasiah; her sister Charlotte and her brother Marvin (Laura); and her nieces and nephews: Danny, who has passed; Shannon (Ben) and their children Maya and Lily, Marcy (Mike) and their children Eli, Remy, Ali, and Andy.

Royal loved gardening in the summer, where she would spend most of the day outside. Her other passion is cooking, making treats for her family and church family. She would spend a lot of time scrapbooking, quilting, and reading. She took great joy in visiting with family and friends. She loved taking her grandchildren camping.

The service for Royalda will be at 10:30 am, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
