Barry, Tanya, Tyson and families, my thoughts are with you as you move forward in a new way. I was saddened to hear about Yvonne's passing. Yvonne contributed much to nursing over the years and I am grateful that I had an opportunity to collaborate with her and our colleagues in India. Blessings....

My thoughts are with the family during this time of bereavement. May you know that she was a very well respected and a caring instructor, nurse and mentor. I too was one of her students and thought the sun "rose and set" on her. She indeed made a difference in my nursing carrer as well as in my life.

I was one of Yvonne's students. My goal has been to become as good an instructor as she was. She was a real inspiration to me and an inspiring role model.

During the many years that Yvonne was both Dean and a faculty member in the College of Nursing her presence touched the lives of many individuals who now represent her profession. She was instrumental in the writing of the history of the college and shared in the recent celebrations of the 75th Anniversary of the College of Nursing.
It was always my pleasure to introduce her each year at our annual retreats as a previous Dean in the college. Her contributions to nursing and to nursing education will always be well known and recognized throughout Saskatchewan and beyond.
