Today I learned of David’s passing. I have known Davie as he was a friend of my son. Every time my vehicle needed body work, Dave was my go to guy. That’s how I found out of Dave’s passing when I called Kavia and asked for Davey.
Condolences to his family.

I'm glad I found this page, I've been wanting to say this for over a month...
I would just like to let Dave's family know much of a role model he was, and always will be, despite only knowing him as my boss for less than a year. His unbreakable positivity rubbed off on me like no one else. In my daily life I find myself thinking "What would Dave do?" "How would Dave react?".
The answer is always to just smile, stay calm, and deal with it.
Hugs to the families, both blood & business.

Dave you are so missed. You were the brother I never had. Always there for me at the drop of a hat. You even missed the riders win the grey cup just so that you could stand up for me at my wedding. You truly were on of the best people I have ever met. I hope you knew that. You were the glue to our whole group of friends. I will try my best to take that over. Love you forever. The world lost a true jem. ❤️❤️

I had the privilege of working with Dave. He was the person that always made you feel included. I remember on Valentine’s Day he bought every lady at work flowers & chocolate. He was a selfless person. The kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The kind that lights up any room he walks into. I want to extend my deepest condolences to his wife, children, family & friends. May you rest in peace, my friend. You are missed so so much already. You will never be forgotten.

Dave was truly just the Best. So many memories, because he made such special connections with you. That was his gift, to be so personable. He's an inspiration as he lived that joyous life, so many of us strive for. He was a loving, caring and dedicated husband for my dear friend Amanda. The best dad who was so involved and present with his children all the time. He was their provider, protector, teacher and loving father. He's the life of the party, always one to bring community together. THE LIGHT! Your physical being will be missed my friend. May your soul be free. Love ya buddy.
Condolences to the Savoie family.
