Thinking of you Laurel and Carey and those close to Norm at this time when your loss is so real. I hope the good memories will sustain you in your grief and into the future.
To help you through this time i would like to relate a "funny" story that goes back to our college days when streeking was in fashion. We were gathered at your dad's place near Bayview and Lawerence Avenue on the weekend for the odd beer as we were want to do occasionally and Norm had the brilliant idea that we should streek around the block, as in run nude down Lawerence Avenue in the wee hours of mid-winter. Norm, being such a persuasive guy and with the help of a bottle of beer or two convinced a few of us to do it with him. Somehow, however, he managed to remain behind and promptly locked the door behind the rest of us refusing to open it until we'd run around the block. Needless to say, he thought it hilarious. The others of us we weren't impressed but we still loved him and I still do.

Uncle Norm was deeply loved and appreciated by his nieces and nephews. He was the smartest and funniest man I’ve ever known. Always had us laughing. Was always the life of the party. Life was busy over the years with work and family but the connection I felt to my favourite Uncle was always there. My heart goes out to my cousins Laurel and Carey…I will always cherish the memories.
Will always love and miss you Uncle Norm

Norm was a colleague and I knew him to be a kind and gentle man. I called him just after Hoe passed away to express my condolences as I knew how close they were. We spoke for awhile about his dear friend and he shared with me his struggles and recent personal health challenges. I always felt such warmth and fondness for Norm. I’m so happy to have chatted with him that day. He was a brilliant and humble life long student of natural health and I was honoured to know him. My deepest and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

My sympathies to Norm's family. He was a friend of mine through our mutual love of Homeopathy. He had an insatiable drive to learn more about Homeopathy and was frequently the last to leave after our study groups, of his good friend Dr. Hoe Mark. He was ALWAYS asking questions that were difficult to answer and got us all to think deeper. He was a good mentor and was always patient with those who knew less than he did, which was most us. A brilliant mind has left us and he will be sorely missed. May God give his family comfort and his soul rest. Amen.

Norm was a really good friend of our family and was like a godfather to the twins. He always loved talking to my dad about everything; all those times we go out for supper and they would chat non-stop. He was also happy to help out my family with fixing our bad backs, shoulders, etc. and we are grateful. He was there with my family on many occasions; for our birthdays, Christmas, going for dim sum, and many more. He will be missed.
