Dear Sandy and Debbie,
I am so grateful to be able to celebrate your amazing Mom and the gift she was- even if it is with a few words on this wall! Your home and the hospitality your Mom offered helped to ease myself and others through the treacherous teenage years. Times spent at your table with great food and deep (and sometimes heated discussion!) laced with your Dad’s calm presence and your Mom’s sense of humour were times I delighted in. The invitation to partake of the Seder Meal, and that experience, shaped a passion for interfaith relations which continues to this day. Your Mom was there as we wore out her recording of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, she took an interest in not only what we were up to, but who we were. Bless you both in this time of grieving and please know that you are held in my heart and in my prayers. As the rabbi said, “A good name endures beyond the grave”. Hugs!
