We are truly saddened to hear that Beaver has passed away. I will forever be grateful for how he took over and told me what to do when Don broke his neck at the lake. He was a good neighbor and friend with a unusual sense of humor. When we see jelly beans like he use to leave as a calling card when he called and we weren't home we are reminded of Beaver
Our heartfelt condolence to you Roxy and family.
You will be missed Beaver (we never knew him as Cleon) Don & Gwen Wolf

Dear Roxy
I am very saddened by your loss of Cleon , he was "One of a kind " the very many years ago that I knew Cleon he always made one feel " HAPPY " , especially when Emile and Cleon drove to the Farm from Regina and we happened to be out there as well.
I think that Cleon and Emile would have some good stories to tell that would really amuse a lot of Family and Friends .
My deepest sympathy to you Roxy and your family.

My condolences to your family. We will never forget Beaver's kindness and generosity toward us and the community at the Lake. When the boys were younger, Beaver would clear a 'rink' for us, flood and maintain it, until we arrived at Christmas for the school break. These are some of our fondest family memories and it was Beaver's efforts that made them possible. He will never be forgotten.

Roxy and family, please accept my sincere sympathy. I believe our whole family was in Saskatoon in summer 1963 for your wedding. Your parents were such incredible people; I will always treasure the memories of your mom's visits with us in NS and her wonderful personality. Reading the obituary, I think you have some of her exceptional traits (patience, kindness, etc.) Thinking of you and sending love at this very difficult time.

Roxy, Kelli, Neil and family, we are so saddened to hear of Beaver’s passing. Sending heartfelt condolences to all of you.
Beaver always had time to lend a hand where needed around Sunset View Beach and he and Gerald could often be found in Gerald’s shop “solving the world’s problems.” I found this picture in an old photo album and it sums up how you would often find these two…teasing and joking, making something better in our community or simply shootin’ the breeze. Gone but never forgotten. Rest peacefully old friend, until we meet again.

So sorry to hear of Beaver’s passing! What a character he was!! We have a few dogs…3 or more at our place most of the time. Beaver would come a lot most of the days when we were there and stop, get out of his van and give each dog some loving and a biscuit. I’m sure they listened for him coming. And then there was the time it was soooo muddy out there we were taking old pieces of our dock from the lakefront to cover up the mud runs so the dogs weren’t so amuddy. He asked if we needed help. Said no it’s ok…we can do it. Turned around and he’s hauling a dock all by himself. What a guy!! We will truly miss Beaver!!

We are so sorry to hear of Beavers passing. Our favourite memory will always be coming home from the curling rink one afternoon to finding a note and bag hanging on our house door. Inside was gold pans for our little boy who loved the show Gold Rush. From then on Conner talked about his friend Beaver. Roxy and Beaver were our kids best customers in their potato business as well. It was always a joy to visit with him.
