To Marilyn and family
Lorne was a dedicated and gifted colleague. His ability to sketch plants added an extra dimension to all the field trips we did.

To the Dear family of Teacher and Mentor Lorne Lepp may I express sincere condolences- Lorne was my Agriculture teacher in my 12th year at Yorkton regional Highschool in 1973 . He was a wonderful , kind and inspirational teacher, mentor and dare I say, friend to me and my classmates. He was instrumental in my being awarded the Sask. Wheat Pool Agriculture Scholarship that year, which I used to further my education at the U. of S. at the College of Agriculture later that same year. I am forever grateful for his time and support. Sincerely, Mrs. Penny Laarveld, nee Matlock, Saskatoon.

On behalf of my dad, Barry Moore, let me share our family's condolences for the passing of your wonderful husband and father. Although my memories have more to do with delicious soup and sandwich lunches prepared by Marilyn, prank scares between Janice and I, and playing in the backyard playhouse, I do recall being mesmerized by Lorne's collection of arrowheads and thinking he must have been the luckiest man on earth to find so many.
I hope you can find peace and joy in the memories and legacy he leaves on this earth.

My sympathy to you Marilyn and all of your family.
I have many fond memories of Lorne working with Warren and Elinor Hjertaas especially as they created the Ravine Ecological Trail. Lorne was so knowledgeable about nature and the need for the appreciation and conservation of it.

To Marilyn and family: Louise and I were greatly saddened to hear of Lorne's passing, and we wish to offer our deepest condolences. Tim is going to prepare an appreciation of Lorne for the Saskatchewan Archaeological Society's next journal issue and will share it with you when published. Lorne was an incredible volunteer and a cherished colleague of Tim's when the Society accomplished so much in educating the public about Saskatchewan's archaeological heritage. Lorne's passion for history and his many talents were a huge part of that.

Dear Marilyn and family,
Although we knew Lorne had not been well for some time it came as a sad shock to us reading the announcement in the paper yesterday. We will always remember him at Christmas when his nativity figures are on display at church. He was a very talented and giving church member who contributed so much and always with no fanfare. We also know he will be very remembered at the museum where he spent many hours, giving freely of his time. May God support you all as you grieve a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. You`re in our prayers,
Cliff and Olive

Our sympathies to the Lepp family. We remember many conversations with Lorne both in the classroom or in the hallway at the Regional. He was always so helpful and positive. He was always interested in what we were doing. He was a real class act. Jean and Sheldon Knoll

Dear Marilyn and family. I am saddened to learn of Lorne’s passing. He was a great person to know and I felt privileged to have seen his wonderful collection of arrowheads. I will miss your “bird seed” run. I will always cherish that. Love and hugs to you. The memories we have certainly do help through the grieving process. Hugs to all
