Obituary of Peggy Wear

Peggy Ann Wear 1924-2016 Peggy Ann Wear (Hyland) passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Porteous Villa with family at her side. She was born July 27, 1924 in Sussex, England to Guy and Edith Hyland. Peggy married John Wear on August 2, 1945 after World War II in England, and came as a war bride to settle in Tessier where she worked in some of the local stores. In 1963, they purchased the Rex Variety Store in Harris. She retired to Saskatoon in 1993 where she has lived until her passing .Peggy is predeceased by her husband John, parents Guy and Edith, several brothers in law and sisters in law as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son Ken ( Reita) and their family; Sherry (Rich), their children; Paige and Tanner Lowdermilk. She is also survived by her daughter Carolyn (Edward) Husband, their family; Lynn (Bruce) and their children; Carter, Kendra and Alexis Wilson and Kelly (Glenn) Vergie and their children Hannah and Jada as well as her sister, Betty and family in England.
