She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; daughter, Christine (Travis); grandson, Joel (Sharlene); great granddaughter, Millie; granddaughter, Shelby(Josh); great grandson, Milo; daughter, Darlene (Mark); grandsons, Ethan and Nate; and her favourite furry son Bandit.
Lucy will be forever remembered by her mom and best friend, Marie Beaulieu; as well as her siblings Aime, Gisele (Doug), Theresa (Jeff) and many other family members from both sides.
She is predeceased by her biological father, Paul; her loving dad, Dieudonne; and her father and mother in law, Henri and Yvette Van Brabant.
Lucy was born on February 1, 1950 in New Westminster, BC. She met and married the love of her life, Paul and they spent their life together living in BC, Alberta and finally making Saskatoon their home. Lucy enjoyed many past times like bingo, bowling, curling and her most favourite was to spend time with family and cheer on her grandchildren during their activities. She may have told them on a few occasions to Kick some Ass! In the past year her great grandchildren Millie and Milo were born, she was over the moon excited to be a great grandparent and she would be often be found looking at pictures and watching and rewatching videos of the babies.
Paul and Lucy made many great friends from their 42 years in Saskatoon, thank you for the memories that Paul will cherish forever.
A Memorial Reception will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Edwards Family Centre (333-4th Ave. N). We thank you for coming to celebrate Lucy’s life.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Saskatoon SPCA can be made in her name. https://www.saskatoonspca.com/supporting/donate
