Obituary of Dorothy Irene Tallis

1926 - 2023 

Dorothy passed away on Saturday January 14, 2023 at a care home in Moosomin, SK. She was predeceased by her husband, Calvin; her parents Louis and Mary Poppl; her brother and sister-in-law, Ludwig and Vivian Poppl; her sister, Elsie Rudrum Range and nephew, Robbie Poppl. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Patty Allen, Ryan Poppl, Elgin Poppl, Kelly (Laurie) Poppl, Lyndon (Pam) Poppl, Glynis Rudrum, Jim Rudrum, Rondi Rudrum and Leanna Wilkins as well as a number of great nieces and great nephews. Dorothy was blessed with numerous and loving relatives and lifelong friends who brought much joy, support and laughter to her life. Dorothy’s smile and laughter will continue to beat in all the hearts and souls she touched in all who met her. A private family Graveside Committal Service will take place where Dorothy will be laid to rest in the Tallis family plot at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon. Arrangements have been entrusted to Carscadden Funeral Chapel and Saskatoon Funeral Home.
