Dear Caroline, Melanie and Tom, sending you and your families my deepest condolences in the loss of your Mom.
I was just thinking about her several weeks ago, wondering if i should try the phone number I had. And then I received the message that she had passed away.
Your Mom was very special to me. I think that we clicked from the moment we met. She was interviewing me for a position at Ottawa St. as the Masters swim coach.
I will always treasure the memories of working with her. She taught me so much about work, leadership and life. She insisted of me going with her to my first funeral, were I cried for at least 20 minutes straight. She was my first visitor when I had our first son. and let me keep working...until #3 was born.
Your Mom did so much for the kids on Ottawa Street, not just the ones that can to work for her. I think she would be proud of how they turned out.
I will remember her for all those good things and more
