I am so sorry to hear of "Patty's" passing. She was a fighter and always stood up for what she knew was the right thing to do. It didn't matter what walk of life or what the issue was if it meant something to someone, it mean some thing to her. I am honored to be one of her many friends. We spent so much time together working on Cowboy Countdown and she was always the one person we could debate about things. We didn't have to agree on the issue but it was always good to chat and discuss. The world is short one great lady and she will be sadly missed by many. To her family much love and hugs! Her memory will always be there.
I will miss you my friend.

My most sincere condolences to Pat's family. She was a bright light on some of our dark days and introduced us to a caring group of Wounded Warriors. She was the Real Deal. Forever in memory.

Sending condolences from both of us.
There are no words that can describe the pain we feel at knowing we wont hear that familiar "Tank" and we will say " Ships" in return. We love you Pat Varga.

My condolences to Lorne and family. I had the honour of working with Pat while she was Dominion President of the RCL. She was a great leader and a veteran who spent years working to support and improve the lives of other veterans. Bravo Zulu Pat.

Our sincere sympathy to Lorne and all the family. We had many good times with Pat and Lorne at various Legion functions throughout the years. Always tried to avoid Pat’s “little black book” and I think we did! Rest In Peace dear Pat.

My memories of Pat go along way back when I first met her as a little girl about 3 or 4. We kept in touch through her Aunt Kay and the years to follow as we all went in different directions but always the connection was there. Pat indeed had a full life in the service of others and her compassion showed each day. We share the sadness all her children and extended family feel at her passing and we know the last few years have been difficult for her and her family. May the Peace the Christmas Season offers, warp its arm around all of you and give you comfort. Sincerely Doug & Marilyn McLeay
