I met Jack very early in my career as a graphic designer in Winnipeg. He was always wiling to help and advise on many occasions as I built my career and business. I was during this time I believe I was responsible for waking his aviation interest. We had many memorable flight together. One in particular ,on a cold winter day, flying to a small US airport. The landing was the smoothest either of us had ever done and we just looked at each other, and asked at the same time, "how did you do that ?" Neither of us thought he was flying! We laughed, and laughed for years about that. We crossed paths again in Saskatoon where we both shared our ups and downs in the graphics business. I could always count on Jack to make me look good. He was a true gentleman and a true friend to me. He always showed his true colors. I will miss him. God speed my friend. I am sure your landing will be another smooth one. Dave
