You know the saying "good fences make good neighbours"? Bill and Mildred proved that wrong. Growing up on the property next to them was the best experience - without a fence in sight! Their thoughtfulness, kindness, reliability and generosity built a 45-year relationship with our family for which we will forever be grateful. We are truly sorry for your loss.

The Board of Directors of Camp Tapawingo send their sincere condolences to Mildred's family. Bill and Mildred were the backbone of our beloved United Church Camp at Candle Lake for many years. Mildred wrote a wonderful poem about the founding and history of the camp... in verse! The dedication, skill and talent they shared for so many years at Camp Tapawingo serve as an inspiration for generations to follow. Mildred's was a life well lived with joy and grace. She made the world a better place.
