I first met Heather when she was about 4 when she came to Inverness, Scotland with her parents. She was a lovable little girl who grew into a special adult. She had a pretty rough journey with her health but by all accounts that did not deter her. My heart goes out to Reg, her sisters and all close family.

Reg and family I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Heather fought for a long time. I knew Heather from our dayhome days. We went on many outings together and were on the Saskatoon Family Childcare Homes Association together. She organized our conferences and they were legendary. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve.

Reg I am so sorry to know of this very sad time and I send lots of prayers to you and my condolences. I too have many good memories with Heather and the first time I ever met her I was serving her at the deli department at Sobeys around 6:30am. She was so friendly as I was slicing her honey ham so she could go home and cook breakfast for her and her husband she said...my comment to her was " your husband should be the one up cooking breakfast for you" we both giggled and of course I did not realize at that time that my coworker Reg was her husband! We often laughed about that and now Heather is laughing in heaven pain free!

Reg, I am so sorry for the loss of your precious "one flesh". I was Heather's roommate my first year at Nipawin Bible College. I have great memories of those years and after when I visited her in Saskatoon. She had a visible love for her Saviour and the hurting, especially children. I pray you'll find comfort in knowing she is now dancing, pain free for the One with scars on His hands!

Reg, we are so sorry to see this sad news. You and Heather were a loving duet; I still have last year's Christmas note wherein she wrote of the wonderful care you gave her. I am in Montreal for the next week, but will attend the tribute to her through the video link. Jim and I send our condolences.
