Obituary of Sandra Lee Adamson
Sandra Lee Adamson passed away in Saskatoon November 26, 2022.
She was born in Saskatoon, February 13, 1960, the youngest daughter of Edmund and Dorothy (Suttill) Adamson and sister to Lynn, Laura, David, Barbara, and Gerry.
Sandra had many interests over the years, was always enthusiastic about them, and shared that enthusiasm with anyone who would listen. Her knowledge and appreciation of classic TV shows, game shows, movies, music, and sports were favorite topics of conversation. Reading her magazines and daily writing in her journal were favorite activities.
She loved watching sports, and had her favorite teams- Saskatchewan Roughriders, Toronto Raptors, and Blue Jays. Although those were here favorites, she enjoyed watching all sports and often challenged the officials on their calls.
Sandra had a sweet disposition, a beautiful smile, and a wonderful sense of humor. She could also let you know with a roll of her eyes if she did not appreciate something.
After Dad’s passing, she was a devoted companion to Mom. Sandra and Lynn had a strong bond and Lynn made sure that Sandra had an enriched life full of fun, laughter, and varied experiences.
Sandra showed us through example how to be passionate about things we care about and to always remind family how much they are loved.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Edmund and brother David.
She is survived by her sisters- Lynn Adamson, Laura Blackwell (Tom), Barbara Hodgson (Neil), her brother- Gerry Adamson (Barbara)- niece and nephews- Kimberly, Andrew, Chris, Paul, Jeff, and their families.
The family will be celebrating Sandra’s life next spring at a private memorial.
If so desired, donations to honor her memory can be directed to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan.
