Deepest Condolences to All of Sylvia's Family. I have just watched and am greatly moved by the Live Stream of the Service. Sylvia, you and I have a long History - back to childhood. There are so many Memories - you and I sharing an Apartment in Saskatoon, our Trip to Europe. The Finality of your Passing reminds me that I have been so blessed by your many Acts of Kindness and Words of Support and Compassion. As a Teacher, your Dedication to your Students was Above and Beyond. I recall you staying up way past Midnight to prepare for the next Day's Lessons or special events such as the Annual Christmas Concert (I had the pleasure of attending one of your Kindergarten Xmas Concerts). During the Service you were described as "ExtraOrdinary". I agree. You and I have not been able to communicate for some time; but I always knew you were There. Now you are free of pain and you are in the Arms of the Angels. Sleep in Peace! Vichnaya Pamyat!
A Poem by the Greek Poet Aeschylus (425 BC - 456 BC)
"In our Sleep, pain which cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the Heart until, in our own Despair, against our Will, comes Wisdom through the awesome Grace of God".

My daughter Orissya and I are very saddened to hear of Pani Savelia's passing. Sylvia was very kind to my daughter when there was a need for Orissya to be at school earlier than the school was open. She had her come in and help in her classroom when I dropped her off on my way to my own school. For that I am forever grateful. Daria and Dustin, my sincere condolences on the passing of your mom. She was a treasure and may your memories of her comfort you as the days go by. Having had you in my classroom at St. Goretti when I was a teacher there has fond memories for me. Вічная Пам'ять, Пані Савелія.

Sylvia was such a beautiful person and loving mother to Daria and Dustin. She was kind, caring and soft-spoken. Most of all, Sylvia was a dedicated teaching professional, always learning, always trying to do her best each day for her students. The Kindergarten children loved her, as did the Ukrainian Bilingual Staff at St. Goretti. May her memory be eternal. Вічная Пам’ять! Nadia & Leonard Prokopchuk
