Donna and Mo were our next door neighbours, when Mo experienced snow for the first time by walking on it with bare feet. Donna sewed beautiful felt dolls for me after I’d agreed to babysit Omar. Many years later, when I was a new teacher and Donna was nearing the end of her career, I worked with her in a professional capacity. She was creative, compassionate, and full of practical suggestions. I’m so sorry for your loss.

We’re very sorry to hear about Donna’s death. We knew Donna and Mo through our father and father-in-law John Gerrard. In fact, we babysat Omar when Vanessa was born. We lost touch with Donna after Mo died. Our thoughts are with the family.
