Sincere condolences to Donna and the family, wishing you peace at this difficult time, take care of yourself and each other.
Had the opportunity to work with Dave at the QEPS for several for years. Dave was great guy to work with, have a lot of stories I could share. Dave liked to organize the shop, by moving things around, told him he reminded me of my wife always moving things so I couldn’t find them. So Dave makes up huge labels and marks all the drawers and cabinets, still had to get him to help me find things.
Then there was the time Donna drops Dave off at work, when he gets in the shop I ask if Donna still had her tonsils, He says what do you mean, I say well I had seen them in the parking lot, Dave almost got embarrassed.
Then there was the time he is talking to Donna on the phone in the shop, the conversations starts to go a bit sideways, and then he said Gordon said you look like you have been putting on a bit of weight. I charge over there to ask what are you saying I have never said anything remotely like that, Dave starts laughing and says she hung up a long time ago; I was just trying to get a rise out of you. Good laugh at my expense.
