Our Deepest Sympathies to Dorthy & all of Mich’s family. The funeral was a lovely tribute to him. So many funny and interesting stories were great to hear. The Doukhobor choir misses him however along with Jeanette they did a wonderful service. We will miss our friend but anyone knowing him will never forget him. He was a one if a kind. He paid many visits to our house in his scooter and loved having a visit and a beer with Orv. Rest In Peace

Dorothy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Mich was such a fine and kind man. His singing voice will be in my memory always. His baritone voice made the choir. He was a good man who lived a full life and now he is at peace with his maker. Take good care Dorothy….I am thinking of you.

He lived and loved life both spiritually and worldly always remembering his roots of toil and peaceful life. His passing has left you without a breath for now , but as long as you have memories in your heart he will never be truly gone. He is now the Sun on your face… the stars in your sky … and the gentle winds that will move you from side to side in life. Sasnya besnya

I am very sorry to hear of Mich’s passing. He had a huge influence on my life as fellow delegate and cooperator with Sask Wheat Pool. He had such a passion for community and working towards policies that would work for as many people as possible. He also took an interest in talking with me about the common beliefs Doukhobors and Mennonites share. I will miss his great sense of humour and his love of a good story or joke. He was one of a kind. My sincere sympathies to Dorthy and family on the loss of a good man. Eldon Funk

Dear Dorthy and Family: We were shocked to hear of Mich's passing and are sorry we could not attend the service due to Joe's health. Mich has always been so friendly and encouraging for Joe to keep being involved with the choir. His singing and direction of the choir made it so special to be part of. Mich will be missed by everyone who had the good fortune of knowing him. Our sympathy and prayers are with you. Joe and Veronica Postnikoff
