Brenda Louise Hobson

April 1, 1951 – October 17, 2022

Brenda Hobson, 71, of Saskatoon, passed peacefully away at home on Oct. 17, 2022. 

She maintained her wit and cheery attitude throughout her life despite the challenges of a serious medical condition. 

Brenda was predeceased by her mother, Beth (Elizabeth) Hobson.  She is survived by and dearly loved by her life partner of 40 years, Doug Fisher.

Brenda graduated from Saskatoon Business College where she received a diploma in business administration.  She pursued a career at the Star Phoenix and then at Social Services where she was a valued colleague and a loyal friend.

Brenda came from a musical background and accomplished grade 9 RCT piano.  In her younger years, she was a sprinter with the Saskatoon Track and Field Club and enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball. 

She was drawn to vivid colours, enjoyed the peaceful days at the lake and the companionship of her dear dogs. 

At Brenda’s request, there will be no service.  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date for family and friends.
