Sharon and I are and have been neighbors with Adamko family for many years. We saw Darren almost every year enjoying his family and Candle Lake. Darren loved his family and we spoke of what they were doing and future plans. We will miss seeing Darren around family cottage and our visits. Our condolences and prayers go out to Darren’s family and friends for their loss.

Lori, Dawson, Evan, Delaney and Adamko Families', our most sincere sympathy on the passing of Darren. You all will miss him dearly. His words, his laughter, his hugs and smile will be in your hearts forever. As you grieve his passing know that we are grieving with you. But in the coming days, weeks, months and years, his physical presence will be absent but the love he had for each of you will be there forever.

We were neighbors at Candle Lake and knew Darren for only a few years. But it doesn't take long to get to know a good person. We often saw Darren having coffee on the deck early in the morning before everyone else was awake. He was always friendly and cheerful as we talked about lake things, family and plans for the day.
Family was very important to Darren and you could tell that he loved his family. And it was easy to tell that his family loved him. We will remember Darren with respect and with gratitude for befriending us and welcoming us to the lake.
The Adamko family is undoubtedly grieving over his passing, but they should take great comfort in knowing that the world is a better place because of Darren.
