Obituary of Ron Bell
On Monday, June 29, 2015, Ron Bell passed away suddenly at his cabin at Wakaw Lake. He will be forever remembered by Ruth, his wife and best friend of 52 years. He is survived by his family who were his pride and joy. His two children; Scott (Tressa) and Leanne (Ken Freyling), his grandchildren, Chelsea (Darcy Hoksbergen), Brodie (Christine) and Lauren and Chanel Bell, and his 3 great- grandchildren, Peyton and Alexis Freyling and Addison Hoksbergen. He is also remembered by his 3 sisters, Cathie (Bob Armstrong), Jean(Russ Farrar) and Joan(Stuart Traves). Ron worked at the Noranda Potash Mine (Mosaic) for 15 years and retired from farming near Young in 2000. Some of his favorite times were spent at the lake with his family and friends snowmobiling and water skiing. He loved traveling in his motor home, spending his winters in Brownsville Texas and relaxing at his summer retreat at Wakaw Lake. If he wasn't buying and listening to music on his new iPhone, he was checking the weather or giving his opinion to someone. His beloved cat Tammy was always close by. Ron lived well, laughed often and loved much. He will be greatly missed. A private celebration of Ron's life will be held with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, Please make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
