Obituary of Linda Jane Farthing

Linda Farthing passed away in Saskatoon on September 12, 2022 at the age of 72 years. She is predeceased by her parents, Mike and Rose (Stebel) Lozinski; and her sister, Matilda Olineck. She is survived by her children, Cory (Edith MacHattie) Farthing and Jason Farthing; and her grandchildren Graham Farthing and Jamie Farthing.

Linda was born in Regina and moved to Saskatoon as young adult. She was a dedicated stay at home mom and then transitioned to being a small business owner and working in retail/ merchandizing until her retirement. Her interests included cooking, crafts, and especially gardening, with special attention given to family & friends.

A come-and-go memorial tea will be held on Saturday, September 17th between 3pm and 5pm at the Edward’s Family Centre (courtesy parking at Saskatoon Funeral Home) in Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan in Linda’s name are gratefully appreciated.
