I met Justin so so many years ago. We used to go hang out, play pool and just talk on the phone. He was a one-of-a-kind guy! We lost touch at some point near the end of high-school and I just heard through my cousin that he was in palliative. My heart sunk. So I messaged him and let him know I was thinking of him. I'm thankful for him being a part of my life. You will be missed Superman!❤️
This is the first, last and only photo of Justin and I that exists and I will treasure it forever. I met Justin when we were 14 in an online chat room. We have spent exactly 2 hours in our lives in the same room as each other and yet we talked all the time, daily sometimes for months. For 21 years my closest friend was a man I'd never met. But I loved him more than you would think possible. He saved my life many times. He always answered the phone when I needed someone to talk too, and he always called me when he needed an ear to listen. I am sorry I won't be able to attend his Celebration of life due to work commitments but my thoughts will be of him and everyone who is mourning him as much and more than myself. I love you Justin and you will always hold a permanent seat in my heart. Our friendship was incredibly special to me and always will be. Thinking of you always, my Angel.
Justin was one of our "fourth" sons, as he was a frequent visitor to our home and cottage. He played a big role in the lives of our grandchildren, Sadie and Jase, who referred to him as Uncle Justin.
We had the opportunity to visit with him in palliative care on September 2nd. He told us about his upcoming excursion to the Mustang show, explained his situation and his acceptance of the inevitable, and thanked us for everything. A true class act. It was an honour and privilege to know him.

It’s been years since I’ve seen Justin, but he was someone I could always count on. He gave the best hugs, had the biggest heart and I have so many fond memories of him ❤️
