Peter Sander
1931 – 2022

Peter passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on August 26, 2022 at the age of 90.

He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia; daughter, Casana (Tammy); his brothers, Anton and Edward; his sister, Theresa Brosinsky; as well as his parents. Peter worked as an accountant until retirement. He loved to be at Marquis Downs with his wife and daughter to watch Casana’s horses race. Peter loved to do woodwork. The yard was always well decorated with his beautiful ornaments. 

A service of the Liturgy of the Word will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Ave. North beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Palliative Care at St. Paul’s Hospital. Thank you to the staff at St. Paul’s Hospital for the care given to Peter during his stay there.
