Throughout my many bad decisions in life, Grandma was always positive and happy to hear what I had been doing. She had a real warmth that never made me feel judged. I remember one evening, many years ago, when some of us grandkids were passing around the guitar and each playing a song for her. Grandma’s eyes really lit up then. She truly loved her family.
