I never called you Pusty usually KT or sis but you were a sister and after Glenn and I became partners we became family! I was really looking forward to seeing you! When I was in Idaho to observe the Nez Pierce Sundance I hung a Prayer Tie for you and sent you the text that said the Prayer Tie is on the Tree Sis we'll see you this summer...but that was not to be! Both Glenn and I were not prepared to hear that you had begun your journey to the other side but we know we will see you again when we get there!
So many memories through the years and after moving to BC we saw each other less and less but we sure had a blast at Denise's Old School Girls' Barbeque where we surprised you with a Birthday Cake! It meant a lot to see you at my brother's funeral and having you and the little one at the Ceremony we had for the unveiling of his Headstone, the Give Away Ceremony proved to be the last time I got to give you a hug! I love you Sister/Cuz I am grateful we were able to trip around with each other when we did!
My Condolences to all of those you left behind or prayers have been with you all; especially, the little one!!

Dear auntie Phyllis, Faye, Wayne, Stew, Dennis, David and family.
I am so sorry to hear that your Karen (Pusty) is gone.
She was such a nice person. She made you laugh and smile.
And when I think of her, I smile. She had that affect on you.
Now she’s on the next step of her journey to heaven. And making her dad (uncle Clarence) smile.
My love, prayers, and thoughts go out to all of your family.
Love Pat, from Calgary.

Karen and I met in grade one at St. Francis school and quickly became friends. We had many sleep overs. We saved a half blind pigeon from the cats and helped put out a small fire in the school yard. Our paths parted but we ran into each other many times over the years and we were always happy to see each other. Karen had a great sense of humour. She was generous, caring and loving. She will be missed by many. I will miss her smile and i will smile everytime hear her name. My sincere condolences to her family
