Dear Lin
Tuula and I were deeply saddened to learn of Tony's passing. He was one of the first people we knew in Saskatoon and was critical to recruiting me to the CLS. Without his insight and assistance we would not have enjoyed perhaps the best years of our lives. We worked closely together on many difficult issues and were always successful. Of course, he was a true friend as well as colleague and we always enjoyed meeting him and you. We send our most sincere condolences to you and the family.

Ron and I are sad to hear of Tony's passing. As a colleague of Tony's on Burlington Council, I was always impressed by his honest, ethical and caring approach to issues. He led by example, for sure. Lin, Tony's happiness was more than apparent when you became a couple. It is my hope that your many good memories are a comfort to you at this time.
You must be so proud of the legacy Tony has left to the world in your children and all that he accomplished.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.

I was so sorry to hear of Tony's death, and your loss. Tony was an active member of the Quality Network for Universities, which I managed for many years, and through the meetings and site visits I came to know, appreciate and admire him very much. I am saddened to hear this news and send you my hopes that you find moments of grace in what I know is a very difficult time.

Hi, Lin:
What a shock! I always think of Tony as perpetually young, and such a gentleman! He was a joy to work with, and your entry into his life was such a boon to him. Thinking of you in your sorrow.
