My sincerest condolences to Rob and Michele and your families. I sure have fond memories of your dear Mom. She always made me feel so welcome when I'd often visit your home on Bate Crescent back in the early-mid '70's. Even today if I happen to catch a funny old rerun of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, or Mash, it reminds me of your Mom, and I can just hear her infectious laughter, as I remember those being her favourite TV shows at the time. I grew up in Grosvenor Park and went to school with the Postma children. I remember meeting Mrs. Postma when I was just a kid riding my bike from Bate Crescent across 14th to go to the university of Saskatchewan fields to play. For some reason she was outside and a few of us stopped to say hello. I remember being so curious as to her accent. I believe she was the first person I had ever met who had a strong accent and I was so attracted to it and to her. Over the years, as I got to know her more I learned what a gentle person she was and a lovely soul. I know that she was dearly loved by Michelle and her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. My heart goes out to the family. She was a fine woman and will be deeply missed. Colin
