Barbara was such a wonderfully massive presence in all our lives. She will be sorely missed. My apologies to the family for at not being in touch more, but church etiquette insists that once a leader leaves a community, it is up to the next to guide and nurture congregants' spiritual care.
Amazing how time passes so relentlessly. Barbara always had a special spot in her heart for her family and friends, some of whom will have been called upon to say something about her at the funeral this afternoon. I’ll be much looking forward to hearing what you will have to say.
Some of us will have to worry about such things as COVID. Unfortunately, that means not being able to appear in person at the Delisle Church. Blessings and I’ll close by wishing you all the peace of Christ, one that passes all understanding. It’s a comfort to think of Barbara meeting God face to face as she’s initiated into that eternal glory. Lucky her. Lucky you to know this.
