I was overwhelmed with sadness at the news of your mom’s passing. The tribute you did was lovely and captured the wonderful lady she was. I don’t think I ever saw her without a smile on her face and she spread her happiness to everyone who knew her. She was truly an angel on earth. I’m sure she has left an emptiness in everyone’s heart. The world is a little darker without her shining light.
I am fortunate to have had so many memories of things I did with her. From weekly supper dates with her and John, art shows, special times at their home, times she came for coffee when having her hearing aids checked and many other occasions.
At times like this there is so little anyone can say. There are no words that have been invented to fit the loss of a loved one, but I want to extend my sympathies to all the family.
